3 Year Bambillo Sofa Bed Warranty

We at Bambillo Sofa Beds have designed our sofa beds with a focus on quality and functionality. In the rare instance something goes wrong you are covered by our Bambillo Sofa Bed Warranty

What does this Bambillo Sofa Bed Warranty Cover

The Bambillo Sofa Beds Warranty applies

  • to the original purchaser;
  • cannot be transferred to anyone else; and
  • is for personal use only. Commercial use including for Airbnb or rental properties is not covered under this warranty

 

The Bambillo Sofa Bed Warranty covers the replacement or repair of any of our sofa beds that has a manufacturing or material defect where:

  • the sofa bed is used for its intended purpose; and
  • all care and use information has been followed; and
  • the defect is not the result of normal wear and tear, or due to a minor variation in material or function

 

This Bambillo Sofa Bed Warranty commences from the date you receive the goods (or from the date you, or your personally arranged third party collects the goods) and is for a period of 3 years from that date

What is not covered by this Bambillo Sofa Bed Warranty

The following are not covered by this Bambillo Sofa Bed Warranty

  • where the sofa bed is being used for commercial purposes including for an Airbnb, or rental property;
  • where the sofa bed is being used for an unintended purpose. For example being used outside. For clarity the Bambillo Sofa Beds are intended for use indoors as a sofa, or as a bed;
  • any minor variations to fabric design, or colour;
  • normal wear and tear. This includes any puddling, stains, discolouration, softening of foam, pulled threads, slight movements of cushions or seat, expansion or contraction of fabric covers, wear on stitching, and marks on the fabric;
  • exposure of the sofa bed to excessive heat, cold or moisture that causes damage or impairment to the function to the sofa bed
  • any discolouration or fading of fabric due to prolonged exposure to sunlight or UV light;
  • any minor variations to product design including to legs, wheels, latches, sliding mechanisms, hinges, locking mechanisms, and zips;
  • any abuse or damage including from jumping on the sofa bed, excess weight, damage caused by pets, use of chemicals, use of third party products, improper storage, damage caused by sharp objects, improper use of the storage area of the sofa bed, damage caused to arms from sitting on the arm or excessive weight, and damage caused to the headrest from sitting on the headrest (in the seat position) or from excessive weight;
  • any improper use where the sofa bed has not been correctly used in the sofa configuration or not correctly used in the bed configuration;
  • any alterations or modifications made to the sofa bed;
  • any consequential or incidental damage;
  • any sofa bed that has been sold as a demo, or seconds, or where there is a defect in the sofa bed that the customer has been made aware of prior to purchase;
  • any damage as a result of the you using your own transport, or where the you have arranged your own third party transport; and
  • damage as a result of the assembly by the you, or a third party, or where the assembly instructions have not been followed.

 

Consumer Guarantees

The Bambillo Sofa Bed Warranty is in addition to the rights and remedies of a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

Warranty Claim

If you have an issue with your Bambillo Sofa Bed please give us a call or email info@bambillo.com.au so we can help get any issue sorted. Please provide the following information to assist us:

  • proof of purchase or purchase details;
  • details of the issue;
  • clear photos of the issue; and
  • clear photos of the entire sofa bed

Once the information is received we will make every effort to review the issue, seek further information or clarification of the issue, and provide assistance. If we determine the issue is a valid claim for a manufacturing or material defect, we will repair the sofa bed or replace the sofa bed at our discretion. We may require the sofa bed to be returned to us for repair or replacement.

If the sofa bed, fabric, or fabric colour is discontinued, or not available, we may elect to replace your original sofa bed with a similar alternative
